Erika Nicole Angles

I was originally referred to Eric Meredith of Jetton & Meredith but ended up speaking with Erika when I called for a consultation. I went into the consultation planning to shop around and left the consultation 100% confident that Erika was the one to handle my case. She did not disappoint! From da...y 1, I could tell that Erika was an extremely talented attorney. One of the many things that I’ve come to appreciate about her is how responsive she is. In the past, I’ve had issues getting in touch with my attorneys. Not with Erika, she was available whenever I needed her. My case was somewhat unique in that I was going through a divorce and fighting for custody of a newborn at the same time (not a great fact pattern). As a single dad, it can feel like the system is against you, but Erika never let me settle for less than I was entitled to. My ex was very difficult to deal with and was gatekeeping visits, even going so far as to sue me for primary custody. Erika got us a hearing with the judge to implement a temporary parenting arrangement order. Even getting the hearing was a big win, but what happened next was even better. I was very nervous going into the meeting but Erika did a fantastic job preparing me for the questions that I would be asked. Due to her coaching, the hearing went better than I could have imagined, and we won joint custody on a temporary basis. I was highly impressed with how Erika conducted the hearing; she is a very powerful presence in front of the judge. My ex is on her second attorney and in both cases, I’ve felt that I Erika was the superior attorney. She always seemed to be a step ahead of the opposition. She is a very talented attorney with a bright future ahead of her. Responsive, compassionate, powerful, technical, and an absolute steal at her rate. As a single dad, I HIGHLY recommend! I very rarely leave reviews, but because of Erika, I got to spend the holidays with my newborn baby boy. This is something I’ll never be able to thank her enough for!

I cannot praise Erika enough for her professionalism, persistence, and commitment to my best interest. Coming from someone who’s had 2 previous lawyers on the same subject my hat is completely off to Erika and her paralegal. When you’ve truly been through the legal gamut and you finally get someone... who fights for you - it is life changing. I wouldn’t recommend any other divorce/ custody lawyer in charlotte.
