Ivana C. Hughes

Ivana Hughes was my criminal attorney. I tried contacting her numerous times, with no success. I would call and get her assistant, who would tell me she was in a meeting at the time, was not in the office, etc. Before she let me know of Ms. Hughes absence both times, she put me on hold for a brief mo...ment. That made it obvious to me she was putting me on hold in order to ask Ms. Hughes if she wanted to speak to me or not, being as she was more than likely in the office beside her. However on the third attempt of calling her office and speaking with her assistant, I made it very clear how adamant I was to speak with Ms. Hughes, for this was a very important matter to me. She put me on hold once again for a brief moment, and Ms. Hughes came on the line. She informed me she had something to do the next day so she couldn't do anything for me or tell me anything regarding my case until after that. Mind you this was on a Friday I was finally able to speak to her personally. So I was polite and agreed to wait for her return call on Monday. Didn't happen. She did not return my call, nor has done a single thing in helping me with my court case. I found this extremely insulting. She was already retained, so there was no choice of me getting another lawyer. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience with this attorney.

My wife and I hired Mrs. Hughes for issues pertaining to family court. Mrs. Hughes was very knowledgeable and amazing in the court room. Mrs Hughes was very organized with court documents. Mrs. Hughes listened to what my family wanted and needed. If we had questions for Mrs. Hughes she was very quick... to respond back at her earliest convenience. Words could never describe how thankful my family is for Mrs. Hughes.
