Meg is originally from Raleigh and after graduating high school at Saint Mary’s School there, attended Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee. She earned a B.A. in Classical Languages, concentrating in Latin. After working several years in property management, she returned to law school and attended North Carolina Central School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Meg participated in many extracurricular activities and interned as a clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Wake Family Court, and Baddour, Parker & Hine. She was an editor at the North Carolina Central Law Review and took cases as a student attorney with the NCCU Legal Clinical Program in both the Family Law Clinic and Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.
