About Alan
Biography
Originally from Camden, South Carolina, Alan attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he graduated summa cum laude with degrees in History, Economics, and Creative Writing. Alan went on to earn his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Law Review and Innocence and Justice Clinic. While in law school Alan earned a number of distinctions including Best Plaintiff's Brief in Legal Writing, and highest class average in Business Drafting and Conflicts of Law.
Alan now lives in Mooresville, where he is active in the community. Alan is currently a charter member and secretary of the Mooresville-Lake Norman Evening Exchange Club, a board member for Community Foundations of Mooresville, and an active member of the Mooresville Young Professionals. In his free time, Alan enjoys exploring western North Carolina's scenic vistas by kayak and hiking trail.
