About Matthew
Biography
Born and raised in Indian Trail, North Carolina, I attended Union County Public Schools. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 1997.
Next, I attended Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and received my Juris Doctor degree in May 2002. I graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, I was a Staff Member and Articles Editor of the Campbell University Law Review.
I practice both civil and criminal litigation. My criminal practice includes all misdemeanors and felonies, with emphasis on driver license restoration, traffic and DWI offenses. My civil practice is concentrated in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation.
When not in the office, I enjoy cheering for the Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers. I take great pride in working in my yard and enjoy fly fishing out West. I also love playing competitive billiards. I have a busy workout schedule and have recently begun participating in Spartan Races.

DWI and reckless driving charges dismissed
