BE AWARE!

She will not fight for you. She dropped me in the middle of a traumatic divorce. Annette does not communicate well, return calls, or emails. She took my money and ran. She did not present evidence in court , she wasn’t prepared, just went along with what the other party said. She isn’t a fighter she ...is not in the right field or position. Don’t hire her, hire someone who cares

Ms. Booker, As was stated by you in court yesterday, I withdrew after your account was over twenty days past due. My motion was not intended as a personal attack on you or a judgment of your character. As to your review, notably, over your objection to my request to be allowed to withdraw from your case, the judge granted the withdrawal. I do wish you the best and truly do care, but I do have to run a business and my billing rates and procedures are set forth in the fee agreement signed by us both. And I make it a practice of working with people in regards to access to legal services and payment options when discussed timely with me. Further, only after I filed my motion to withdraw and yesterday's court, have I heard these concerns about my trial work. I am befuddled by this review due to just yesterday you were objecting at court on the record to the judge releasing me from representing you in your case. Regardless, you are right that family court is hard for all involved and I wish you the best and Godspeed.

Domestic Violence Representation

Mrs Heim has been amazing for me. She has helped me escape a dangerous situation & has held my hand through the entire process. She has always provided prompt responses & walked me through everything I needed to know & do during my domestic violence proceedings. She will definitely by my divorce a...ttorney a year from now, too....

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
