Phillip Wayne Covington

Mr. Covington was a court appointed attorney for me in a personal property damage case back in 2009. I understand I didn't pay him anything, but at least do not have the plaintiff's interest more at heart than mine. That goes against the merit of being a attorney. He spoke more with the plaintiff's t...han me and I felt like I was unrepresented. I believe he took advantage of the fact that I was a 19 year-old kid, and the plaintiff's were at least twice my age, so I believe he felt that they were more valuable from a networking point of view. Now that I'm older I see exactly what he did, and it is not plausible. I'm in a client-based business too, and I would never go against the fiduciary responsibility of my client, regardless of how well-known the person is on the other side of the table.
