Beware

I hired John a few years ago for around $6,000. I could never get in contact with him, he was never available, and he never provided a receipt or invoice reflecting his services. I had to file my own paper work at the court house and wrote 90% of the complaint. Big talk but no results. Stay away....

Terrible Attorney

John represented a friend of mine in court. The night before court, he asked HER to prepare and deliver the subpoenas for the trial! We worked late and then couldn't deliver or we would have been late for court at 9am. This isn't a professional guy at all. His fees are YUGE and his effort is minimal.... Still no receipt for cash payment. DON'T Do it!

John Lost License (saw that coming)

I really must warn anyone dealing with John Snyder to beware!! What I have to say about John Snyder is that he is a Liar!! That is why he lost his license to practice Law, he does not care about his clients he only cares about getting your $$ and never following through on any of his promises!!! I ...have been asking him for a statement and receipt for a cash payment of $12,500.00 cash we gave him to defend my husband, which he did a horrible job of that, gave nothing but excuses, he costed my husband a month of his life, but John did not mind taking our Hard earned $12,500.00. John Snyder also lost his license for 3 years for doing a bad job for another lady as well, skipped court dates, but John took her $$ and did not do his job!! John Snyder does not deserve to deal with anyone in Public!!! he is a Liar!!! I have Pictures of all I claim!! John Snyder has been promising me a statement since court 11-2019, through Dec. 8th, 2020, still John has not given me a receipt!!! ALL he gave us was a run around!!!

Estate Planning

I hired Mr Snyder in Dec of 2019 to perform estate planning for my parents. His fee was exorbitant for his minimal level of effort. He was non-responsive for 3 months until I stated that I was filing a complaint with the bar. When we parted ways, I still had to file the documentation with the cour...thouse myself as he had failed to identify the necessary documents or the correct county. I would not recommend him for any type of law given that his lack of responsiveness or acknowledgement that he left me hanging.

Wish I could leave 0 stars

I was highly recommend to John by a police officer. My 2 sons had open container cases. We hired John and he told us one of my boys needed to go to classes for alcohol and drugs. My son went to the classes and I sent John the completed paper work. My older son went for an evaluation and was told he d...idn’t need classes . We sent John the paper work. We never heard back from John. My husband assumed the cases were over. I repeatedly called, texted an emailed john. After weeks he called me back and said my older son needed classes . John said he would let me know where and when. I didn’t understand this because we had the paper work that he didn’t need classes. I again never heard back from John. I repeatedly called, texted and emailed John. John never answered . My husband once again said I’m sure it’s settled. A year and a half goes by and my younger son is away at college and gets pulled over because a cop randomly ran his plates. The cop told my son their was a warrant out for his arrest and my older son for not appearing to a court date ( apparently that was my lawyers job). They put my son in jail for 2 hours. Thank God his friend had 500.00 to bail him out. We called John, he did not apologize for the fact that my son was thrown in jail for a case he obviously never finished. Once again I had to repeatedly call and email John, who once again was never getting back to me. When I got John on the phone he was nasty and said my older son did not go to the classes. I told him once again I had sent him the paper work that he didn’t need classes. John had no paper work saved , I had to call the schools and have everything resent to John. I told him my sons friend had to lay out 500.00 and asked if we get the money back and John smuggley said well I’m not paying that money! As a lawyer John should have known that that money would be given back to us once he appeared in court( which was suppose to happen a year and a half ago) I told John that he cashed my check and never finished the job n he once again told me my son needed classes. Well John finally went to my sons court date and guess what it was settled and my son didn’t need classes. John could have settled this a year and a half ago and my poor son would not have had the terrifying experience of being thrown in jail. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone.
