I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002 and began my legal career practicing civil law, mostly handling worker's compensation defense. In late 2006, my husband and I moved to North Carolina and I was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2007. Since 2007, I have been practicing primarily criminal defense law. In 2009, I opened my own frim, The Law Office of Shannon Aldous, P.C., and have continued to enjoy representing criminal clients and assisting them with all of their legal needs.

Very Savvy attorney
I don't know a lot of court procedures or protocol but my attorney Shannon Aldous made me feel very calm. Thank God she helped me win my case and I received a not-guilty verdict. Very kind and compassionate.

Client
I hired her after I was in SERIOUS trouble with the law. I was facing 3 possible felonies. Shannon was able to get it reduced to a misdemeanor with a shorter probation than originally discussed. She's a smart practical woman!

Excellent Attorney!!
I hired Shannon in the spring of 2015 and am very glad I did! She worked hard and made the whole legal process very clear and easy! Not only did she help represent me and make the whole process simple, she subsequently had the charges dismissed and expunged from my record. Look no further for an att...

A+ service, before and long after my case!
My charges were handled, with Shannon correctly predicting the outcome from day one. Long after the fact she helped me to work with the local sheriff to obtain my handgun permit, and helped prove to my landlord that the matter had been dismissed so I could renew my lease. If I ever return to Watauga ...
