I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002 and began my legal career practicing civil law, mostly handling worker's compensation defense. In late 2006, my husband and I moved to North Carolina and I was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2007. Since 2007, I have been practicing primarily criminal defense law. In 2009, I opened my own frim, The Law Office of Shannon Aldous, P.C., and have continued to enjoy representing criminal clients and assisting them with all of their legal needs.

Ms. Aldous is the epitome of what a defense attorney should be...tough but compassionate; terse but knowledgeable and at the end of the day, she knows her stuff (and definitely better than the client does so don't question her judgement because she knows her craft). Every time I even thought to quest...
