I happen to have worked with law firms across the world and can assertively declare that this practice is of the utmost quality. In 2015 i was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. I previously was diagnosed in 2013 and again on 2015. I have had previous health issues and surgeries but have ALWAYS returned to work after 6 weeks, but i couldn't with this one. After my double radical mastectomy and removal of 38 lymph nodes... i developed chronic lymphedema in my left arm and chest with extreme pain. I was told by 6 different doctors and OT therapists and palliative care doctors in would not ever be able do the job I have always done. I was a medical technology expert. I was always at my desk, on my computer, on my phone etc. I would type for hours for reports, orders, insurance filing etc. I can not sit, stand or lay for long periods of time. I can not type for long periods of time etc. I have worked since I was 15. I filed 3 separate times for disability and was denied. I searched for legal representation and found Rachel. After our first meeting I was so impressed with her and her staff. We were informed by Rachel the state of NC does NOT pay for cancer diagnosis. A person has to have a separate diagnosis as a result of cancer and treatment. That blew our minds. Rachel and her staff fought for us. They kept in touch with us. They answered all our questions no matter the day or time. When we were in front of the judge, Rachel and I, she fought like a cornered pit bull for me. She is knowledgeable of all disability laws.
