My litigation is in Superior Court in NC. My practice has involved construction, real estate titles, zoning and so forth.

My appellate practice has been in the NC Court of Appeals and the NC Supreme Court. Initially, I represented state agencies and the State of NC, including the Judicial Standards Commission and NC Real Estate Commission. In private practice, my appellate work has included criminal and civil, but mostly civil cases involving municipal law, environmental law, and construction law.

I bring suits against local government on behalf of landowners challenging ordinances and rulings. I also challenge administrative decisions. I also appeal property tax valuations and administrative rulings.
