Jennifer Rutherford Robertson

Born and raised in Concord, North Carolina, Jennifer R. Robertson, formerly Jennifer A. Rutherford, enjoys practicing law in an area with familiar faces and hometown comfort.

Jennifer graduated from East Carolina University in 2000 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Philosophy. Jennifer then sought out adventure in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2004. During her second year of law school, Jennifer was invited to be a supplemental instructor for Contracts to the incoming students. In addition to her leadership skills, Jennifer demonstrated early promise as a litigator in that she auditioned and won a spot on the trial advocacy team, an honor typically reserved for third year students. Her excellence in the art of trial advocacy gained her a scholarship and induction into the prestigious Order of Barristers. 

Jennifer married her best friend, Max, in the Fall of 2011, after having known one another since the 3rd grade.  They welcomed their daughter into the world in May 2013.  Jennifer's family roots thrive as her parents and sister remain in Cabarrus County.  Jennifer enjoys traveling to the North Carolina beaches and mountains.  Living an equal distance from both, it is a toss up as to which is her favorite.  Jennifer, Max and their Labrador retriever, Titan, often head out on a Friday after work for a weekend camping trip.
