My lawyer left the firm.

I was using Allie (?)from this law firm for my husband's estate. She left the firm; I did not know until 5 months later. She had my forwarding address. I heard nothing until April of 2022.I received a letter from Stanely courts. I called and talked to Crystal, and she took all the information she nee...ded. I assumed it was over. I am now being required to appear in court because Mr. Webster excuse himself from my case. They say they did not have my address, if that was so how could they send me papers?

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
