Jessica Marie Major

 Attorney Jessica M. Major is a native of Richmond, Virginia. Attorney Major attended college at The University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

     After completing her undergraduate degree, Attorney Major enrolled in North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. While there, Attorney Major took on many leadership roles including being the Community Service Coordinator of the Black Law Student Association. It was there that Attorney Major realized she had a passion for litigation. She competed on several trial teams including the National Civil Rights Competition at St. John's University and the American Association for Justice National Trial Competition.

     In 2009, Attorney Major was admitted to practice law in North Carolina. In 2011, Attorney Major was admitted to practice law in Virgina. Since Attorney Major regularly practices in North Carolina, she is currently considered "inactive" in Virgina.

     Attorney Major is always looking for ways to expand her expertise in the practice of law. In addition to taking many continuing legal education classes, Attorney Major also graduated with honors from Temple University School of Law with a Legal Masters in Trial Advocacy.

     In her spare time Attorney Major enjoys attending church at Union Baptist Church, playing with her dog Onyx, and reading.
