Masterful strategist, Outstanding Lawyer!

Ms. Osbourne is a outstanding lawyer! She's intelligent, insightful, eloquent, clever, careful, and committed. Most importantly, she's wise and strategic. She was my lawyer for a challenging custody lawsuit brought by my ex-husband. When she took the case, I was behind the eight-ball with just my wo...rd to counteract the many untrue allegations from my ex. Ms. Osbourne was masterful at unravelling their case and building ours. In particular, she was able to bring to light mistakes of well-known experts related to our case. This was no small task given the reputation of these professionals, but she managed to accomplish this without alienating them or the court. Ms. Osbourne's success is in large part due to her incredible, incredible intelligence. She always had my priorities in mind and steered the case towards those very strategically. In preparation, she was thorough and anticipated every angle. In court, she was like a precision weapon in her arguments and questioning. In negotiations, she was a wise counselor and a tough negotiator. Throughout, she was reliable, committed, truthful, and personable. I trusted her with my children's lives and she was worthy of that trust.

Outstanding Lawyer

Autumn Osbourne is an honest, dedicated, and passionate lawyer who, time and time again, expertly advocated for my best interests and the best interests of my minor children during a difficult divorce. I wholeheartedly recommend her services. If I need representation in the future, I will hire Autu...mn. Autumn expertly guided me through a difficult, high-conflict divorce (involving minor children) in Durham, NC. At the time, I knew nothing about divorce, equitable distribution, custody, or the court system. Autumn educated me, helped me, and led me through the maze of forms and court appearances. I felt safe, understood, and prioritized while in her capable hands. Despite facing numerous obstacles, Autumn ultimately won my case, and she did so in convincing fashion. When you hire a lawyer, you are hiring a person with whom you are entrusting your future and your kids' future. In my humble opinion, Autumn is the best you can do. She is a lawyer with all the right skills and all the right intangibles: she was exceedingly well-prepared for court, she commanded the courtroom with her voice and her overall confidence, she is smart, she responded to my emails promptly, she never over-billed or wasted my money, and she really cared. I will hire Autumn again.

Mrs. Osbourne is a wonderful lawyer!

Mrs. Osbourne has represented me on two occasions both for child custody cases. She is very intelligent and she goes above and beyond in my opinion. She has worked very hard to make sure she had all of the pertinent information regarding my case and was always very quick in getting back to me and add...ressing my concerns. On both occasions she has gotten me a desirable result and she has worked very hard to ensure I was not only comfortable, but I knew what was going on regarding my case. I would recommend Mrs. Osbourne to all of my family and friends who were in need of legal assistance regarding family law. If I am ever in need of legal assistance again Mrs. Osbourne will be the only person I go to!

Outstanding!

I have been working with Autumn for a little over 2 years now and I must say at every turn she has been the one person who has eased my nerves. We have been going through a rather nasty child support ordeal and Autumn has been there to quickly answer my emails or calls whenever I needed. She always h...as an abundance of knowledge to guide me through whatever curve ball comes my way with my ex and EVERY time we have gone to court I feel calm knowing she is at my side. I'm truly blessed to have her representing my family and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone having a family issue that they need representation.

Autumn's got your back. Relax and let her and her team get on with it.

What could have been an amicable separation quickly turned adversarial when the opposing party became unreasonable. I thought we would have to litigate to get an acceptable outcome but Autumn maintained a cool head, kept me in check, explained likely outcomes and organized mediation. The mediation... took a similar pattern - started out with unreasonable demands, but by holding ground on important items and conceding on some minor items, we were able to achieve a very fair outcome. Autumn is the first attorney that I have worked with, so I don't have anyone to compare her with but I think her style is right for a lot of first-timers. She took the time to explain the process, was frank, honest, empathetic and very conscious of 'time is money' which kept costs to a minimum. The rest of the team at her office were courteous and professional. Liz collated all of the financial info and left no stone un-turned, which allowed me to relax and know that I was in good hands. The thoroughness of the preparation for mediation meant that little time was spent arguing over the basic facts.

"I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Autumn for nearly a decade. I strongly value her opinion on all issues related to divorce/family law. She has the unique ability to ensure cases that should reach a reasonable settlement without the costs and emotions of drawn out litigation do in fact reach settlement. However she is well prepared and skilled to litigate any matter necessary. She is a strong advocate for her clients inside and outside the courtroom. Sometimes this might mean telling a client what he or she does not want to hear because it is best for their case. Without hesitation I refer clients to Autumn and will continue to do so. If you are in the Triangle (and surrounding areas) and need a strong, passionate and reliable lawyer look no further than Autumn Osbourne."

"Autumn Osbourne is one of those professionals who combines a fine knowledge of the law with a depth of understanding people and life. She is very bright and listens to her clients, providing them with an understanding of what can be and what cannot be done in resolving family law issues. She certainly will act in accordance with her client's directions after fully informing them of the probable and potential difficulties and perhaps unintended consequences. At the same time, she will strongly discourage pursuing courses of action which she recognizes will be hurtful to the client, or the family, with no real likelihood of a successful outcome. Ms. Osbourne seeks reasonable, workable solutions and abjures fighting useless battles that merely bring additional costs and harm. As a mother, she understands family dynamics and the emotional storm that separation brings. She is trusted by her clients, the judges and opposing counsel, and that aids in solving problems with less harm."
