Good Attorney

Ms. Ewing is knowledgeable in Real-Estate Law. She has done 7 closings in total for me either as POA for my client or for myself personally over the past few years.

Good Attorney

I was very pleased with her professionalism. Carey has advised me on several Real Estate transactions that have better than expected outcomes that more than exceeded my expectations.

Very pleased with Carey's work on several home closings

For closings on both of my homes in the last 5 years, Carey was on the spot. For my last home, October 2009, Carey and staff had an uphill road dealing with my purchase of a foreclosed home held by a government agency. Her wealth of experience was so helpful as the red tape was at times exasperatin...g. She stayed on the case, managing everything exactly on time.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Censure issued in NC, 2006

updated on 06/18/2009

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Carey’s comment:

“This was from an incident in 1997. No harm was found to anyone involved, but the state bar had to enter some ruling, so I got my wrist slapped for utilizing poor judgment.”
