Sarah Maryam Al-Zoubi is a Raleigh-Durham native. In serving immigration clients, she honors her Syrian American heritage and commitment to equity for all comes to immigration law with experience as a District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. This affords her a unique ability to serve her clients in the intersecting and rapidly changing areas of criminal and immigration law, ensuring that her clients’ rights in both areas are upheld.
Maryam brings a specialization in citizenship denaturalization defense, an unfortunate reality that the Department of Justice is currently actively pursuing. Her courtroom experience as a Bronx prosecutor provides her the edge to fight for bond and removal defense in immigration court.
