I hired Mr. Duke to take care of a speeding ticket I received when I was in Durham, NC. In my opinion, Mr. Duke charges was too little money. Mr. Duke got my personal court appearance waived. He then had to make 3 court appearances on the case - mind you it was only an 80 in a 60. Then, they gave him... an offer on my behalf which had to be paid on the day of the allocution. This caused Mr. Duke even more work, as he had to collect the money from me in advance (attorneys cannot lay out money for clients). He also had to strictly account for the money, and then execute payment on the final court date. Mr. Duke got my matter down from a moving violation which would have triggered insurance increases to a city ordinance that does not show up anywhere on my driving record in any state. If you or someone you know needs a lawyer in North Carolina for any of Mr. Duke's practice areas, I highly recommend that you retain his services!
