Crystal Gayle Rouse

I joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2010 and handle Social Security Disability claims for our clients.

I received my J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law and my B.A. in English from Barton College. I had eight years of experience as a Social Security Disability Determination Services Examiner prior to obtaining my law degree in 2008. In addition to Social Security law, I have practiced in the areas of debtor/creditor mediation, domestic violence and employment securities law.

I can't tell you how many times people have told me how much anxiety they had about the hearing process. Afterwards, they thanked me for making the process more tolerable. Going to a hearing may never be a pleasant experience, but at least I was able to make it more palatable for them.

I am a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Wake County Bar Association.
