DUI Case - Poor

He may be informative on the phone when speaking to you about your case. And make you believe he is on top of things. But, he always had to ask me again about my case, go into detail about it, and I realized then I had made a mistake hiring him. But I had already paid him, I didn't have the money... to pay for another Attorney. Then in the Court Room, he didn't even say the things he had told me and my husband that "he had this taken care of, let him do the talking, that's what he's good at" . Well, not in my Case. He didn't say any of the things he said he would to DEFEND me, but I felt like he totally just didn't even care how it turned out for me. Even after the months of prolonging it to get "all the facts together" he slapped me right in the face by not standing up for me, which is what you pay an Attorney for !

Puts himself and Officers FIRST ... NOT CLIENT

He says you have a Great Case, and strings you along for over 18 months making you trust and believe he can win your case, then bottom line ..... He's in front of the Judge with the Officers and says he "can't make them look bad because he has to work with them every day" ... REALLY ???? I pay you ...Ed, NOT THE OFFICERS !!! I don't care if you see them every day or not !!! They don't pay you money for legal fees that I could have done all this on my own, had my license back over a year ago instead of just now having it taken away and go yet ANOTHER YEAR to be able to drive ..... Lousy work for the people that TRUSTED YOU !!!!

Experience

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2021.

Censure issued in NC, 2021

updated on 03/09/2022

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
