Ava Lynch is a personal injury attorney at Riddle & Brantley serving clients across North Carolina. She joined the firm in 2021 and has served as a plaintiff’s attorney since 2017. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science, and the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where she earned her J.D.
A North Carolina native, Ava spent her early childhood in Ashe County, later moving with her family to Cary. She has been a Wake County resident ever since.
“I love using the experience I’ve gained through my career to help my clients arrive at the best possible outcome for their personal injury cases," said Ava.
A Wide Range of Experience
Ava’s experience spans a wide range of personal injury case types, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and government liability. She even has experience taking on school boards for liability associated with school bus accident injuries.
A Passion for Justice
In one recent case, Ava represented a young woman who was shot on the campus of her high school in Cumberland County. The case offers a strong example of Ava’s passion for seeking justice for her clients. She says, “Helping the client find her voice and empowering her to tell her story has always stuck with me.”
When Not Fighting for Clients...
Outside of the office and courtroom, Ava enjoys spending time with her husband, Colby, and son, Colby Jr., who goes by “Grant.” Ava describes Grant as “the light of our lives.”
You might find Ava enjoying her favorite hobby, horseback riding, or traveling the globe with her family. She’s also an avid reader (usually a thriller, crime novel, memoir, or biography) and enjoys spending time at North Carolina’s beautiful beaches or on her back porch.
Ava and her family have two pets — Dixie, a 9-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, and Sophie, a 3-year-old black Goldendoodle.
