Biography
I love my job. I have the opportunity to represent real people who are experiencing real problems. I represent clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, child support and alimony. My representation may include negotiations, mediation or litigation. I am comfortable representing clients with regard to all domestic matters in whatever forum.
I have been a North Carolina State Bar Board Family Law Specialist since 1991. I have extensive trial experience at the district court level and have spoken at family law seminars on various family law issues. I am a mediator, arbitrator and collaborative attorney. I have acted in all capacities with regard to alternatives to dispute resolution.
I am also listed among North Carolina Super Lawyers® for Family Law as well as Best Lawyers in America.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, cooking and gardening.
