He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, with highest honors, obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration in Managerial Finance and Investments. After graduating from Ole Miss, Kemp moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University Law School, before finding home in Smithfield.
