Lauren Kathryn Campbell

Lauren Campbell Maxie grew up in Greensboro, NC and was first exposed to the law by her high school teacher, Mr. Ray Parrish. As part of his class, she had the pleasure of representing the State of North Carolina in the We the People National Competition and debated the present day implications of the United States Constitution.  She was enthusiastic about the law and the positive impact it can have on peoples’ lives ever since.  She also had the pleasure of working with the elderly in a retirement community as her first job while in high school and truly enjoyed the relationships she built while working with such wonderful people.  From a young age she was taught by her loving parents that she could do anything she set her mind to with tenacity and hard work. Consequently, she aimed to become the best attorney that she could be in order to serve others.

She graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2007 with degrees in Business Management and Theatre Performance. She was also awarded the Outstanding Graduate in Business Management. In 2009, she moved to the Raleigh area where she was accepted as a member of the inaugural class of the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University’s satellite campus in downtown Raleigh. While in school, she gained practical experience through working with a private firm in Wilmington, North Carolina and alongside the general counsel of a large public corporation.

While in practice, she focuses on estate planning and business planning as she continues to follow her passion to help individuals protect themselves and their families while planning for the future.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, supporting the arts and running.
