Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, and grew up outside of Goldsboro. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I graduated with BA in Sociology and Management & Society, with a minor in History. I then attended Campbell Law School where I graduated in 2015. I am licensed to practice law in North Carolina, and I am a member of the 10th Judicial District Bar.
