Formerly in private practice, now with the North Carolina Department of Justice handling cases in the Office of Administrative Hearings and state and federal courts on behalf of the Department of Administration.

On behalf of the Division of Purchase & Contract, I have handled a dozen or more contested case matters filed in the Office of Administrative Hearings.

My primary responsibility involves State procurement law on behalf of the Division of Purchase and Contract, which handles the majority of purchasing and contracting on behalf of the State of North Carolina. Prior to joining the North Carolina Department of Justice, the majority of my practice consisted of representing local boards of education, community college boards and other local boards.

I review contracts for the Division of Purchase & Contract and other State agencies. While in private practice, I advised local boards of education and other local government boards on contract matters.
