Wonderful Attorney

Mr. Floyd represented my daughter in a larceny case as a public defender. He recommended that she do teen court (after trying to get the case dismissed) and was helpful in getting her through teen court, even though she had an additional charge later. He was kind and really seemed to care about her o...utcome, even as a PD. I would highly recommend him!

I am Very Thankful for Chris

Chris made no promises, and told me how it was. He shot me straight, pulled no punches, and proceeded to go about doing what he said he was going to do. It worked out the way he thought and I hoped it was going to work out and for that I am very fortunate and thankful. The real reason that I am... writing this review is that we had to unfortunately ask Chris to also represent one of my teen aged boys. At the final meeting for my boy, Chris took it upon himself to talk frankly about some of the decisions my boy was making with his life some of which had gotten him into the current trouble he was in. He used some of the cases he had had in the past and currently was representing as anonymous examples of what happens to people later in life if my boy decided to continue down this horrible path of self-destruction. Chris spent about 45 minutes of his time out of genuine concern for my boy and at no charge. Chris is the kind of lawyer you want in your corner looking out for you!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
