Back in my early 20's I was as many young and careless..I was charged with a dui, and needed my license to work..i was referred to Jack by someone..Jack is no nonsense, straight to the point..He told me his fee and said he would do what he could...I paid him and he saved my license..I have had to hir...e him on a case that I could have got jail time,and was really totally innocent, but the odds were stacked against me...just like magic Jack had some charges dismissed and others taken to trial with not guilty verdicts..I matured now and other than a speeding ticket from time to time,I haven't had to hire Jack...but he is my go to guy hands down..and maybe he comes off a little rugged but trust me he his name is known and is who I want in my corner as legal counsel

I consulted with Jack Hughes regarding representing me for a DUI charge. Upon meeting him, he refused to shake my hand as an introductory gesture. He had a nasty cold and condescending demeanor. His first question to me was "what are you charged with. His next reply was "my fee is $2500". I naively r...etained and hired him. When I asked him anything about my case, he refused to answer. He continued my trial 3 times. On the 4th date, I paid my attorney fee in full and that was the first and only time he discussed my case with me and unfortunately with the judgHe never communicated with me. I was charged with careless and reckless driving, given 6 months unsupervised probation, and had to pay a $300 fine. Had he explained to me his intentions prior to court or during consultation, I would have NEVER hired him. I had a clean record until his LOUSY, POOR AND EFFORTLESS REPRESENTATION.

I've had a couple of citations for possession of marijuana and Jack has yet to let me down. The first time he got it dismissed with no problem. The second time he got the case dismissed with 12hrs of "community service." He has handled a couple of traffic tickets as well but he is the lawyer that... saved my dad from DUIs, suspended license and probably jail time but that was back in the early 90's before MADD and SADD became large movements in my area. He's older and peculiar but he knows how to get things done. His only 2 rules are honesty and call his office at some point a couple days or so before you're scheduled appearance just in case he isn't going to be there and have it continued. He is well known for his word of mouth reputation and as I said has yet to let me down.
