My husband has been locked up in Wayne county for almost 45 days now on some lies. Mrs Godwin got court appointed to my husband. I have tried messaging and calling to discuss his case with her bc like I said he is in there on some lies...he has trying getting up with her..she hasn't returned none of ...his calls. They don't have him going to court till after January 1st...6 months from now she will not return my calls or messages. My husband should be at home with his family. So if you want a lawyer that is going to do something... Don't get her bc she don't do nothing but get court dates continued and don't talk to her clients.

So Ms. Godwin was my lawyer and I gotta say she really impressed me. She acted like she really cared what happened with my case and she for me a pretty good deal. She talked my probation officer down from 10 days that I would have to do to just 2 days. Which is way better I think, I mean I know it is.... Just wanna say she turned out to be a really good laywer, very well spoken in court, I would deff recommend her, I give her 5 stars! For sure!
