I am a North Carolina family lawyer with over 15 years of experience representing individuals throughout the state of North Carolina in all areas of family law. In 2000, I opened my own law practice outside of Raleigh and have since then, provided  compassionate, personalized representation to families going through divorce, custody disputes, adoptions and other family matters. My practice also includes defending people charged with DUI, traffic violations or other serious criminal offenses, though this only comprises a small portion of my firm. 

Since opening my own practice, I have expanded outside of Garner, now totaling four office locations to better serve you including - Smithfield, Raleigh, Angier, and of course, Garner. 

As an attorney in North Carolina, I am involved in a number of legal associations and organizations within the state and local community. Thankful to have met with Jonathan Breeden
I was served with a subpoena for documents in a child support order case. I was totally caught off guard as to that point, everything had been handled through the state and no outside representation had been necessary. I only had 10 days to find an attorney and get my information together to go to court. When I called Jonathan's office, they got me in quickly for a consult. After reviewing the information, Jonathan felt that I could represent myself. However, he told me in detail every single thing that would happen when I went to court. On the day of the appearance,things went EXACTLY as he had told me they would. I felt prepared, confident and knew that I was going to be ok. Jonathan was present in the courtroom for another case, and made sure to speak to me and check to see if I needed anything he could help me with. It was a very long and stressful day, but with the knowledge that Jonathan had given me, I was able to stand for what I knew was right for my child. Thanks Jonathan and staff!

I have worked with the Breeden Law Firm for years now on multiple situations. I plan on continuing in the future, since we are a military family, and move often. Mr. Breeden was very responsive when I contacted him with a question or an issue. He was very realistic when explaining what was or wasn't possible in my case. Unexpected outcome with multiple tickets
2016 was not a very good year for me. I found myself in several different situations and I absolutely made the wrong decisions. I reached out to Jonathan for help and he really helped me out of a mess. Thank You Jonathan, I don't know where I would be with out your help.

Top Notch Multi Faceted Law Office
Jonathan Breeden and his team have handled traffic violations, family wills, and other legal matters for our family with speed and efficiency. He has fought for our rights, worked with us on timely payment options, and gotten the results we have desired from the legal system. In this day and age, an online review is only as good as the party that composes it. Hence the fact that poor reviews that are not true are often written by "anonymous" parties who did not get the outcome in the legal system that they desired due to their guilt. Property Settlement and Divorce
When I sat down with Jonathan and discussed my case, right then he took charge and devised a plan. Within a year we were able to complete the divorce and property settlement at a reasonable rate successfully. I would highly recommend Johnathan to anyone looking for someone who believes in you and will get the job done. Jonathan is a Bulldog in the courtroom which is what you need when you need legal help.

100% Satisfactory
I didn't have a complicated case, just a simple amicable separation agreement I needed help with. Jonathan Breeden provided great input and was very knowledgeable on the matter, I was very happy with his overall performance and advice and I would absolutely recommend him. As a matter of fact, he came recommended by a friend who did in fact have a case that ended up in court and she was VERY happy with his performance. He was well-prepared, confident, eloquent, and every bit the"bulldog" he says he is.

child custody and a speeding ticket
The first time I met Mr Breeden, I had gotten a speeding ticket. I call the staff she stated for me not to worry Mr Breeden would take care of the ticket without any worry. Mr Breeden took over and had it reduced. I didn't have go to court so I loss no time from work. Then came a case of custody of my granddaughter, he was very up front what may happen, and let us right away that even though we knew what we was telling him. That once he receives all the information from the other party that it could be a lot difficult. I attended the court hearing watch Mr Breeden in court room. You could that , he had respect from his peers. I had to deal with his staff they were very personal, respected my worries. I would tell everyone to use Mr Breeden for family law, divorce,child custody and even for my will, etc.

I was gobsmacked to find him completely unprepared when we sat down for our mediator to help settle the property distribution in my separation. I NEVER once felt this man was fighting for me. Some things he said we would do early in our relationship never happened and I feel this preparation was paramount to our success. Lack of communication was a real talent.

10750 Dollars , really ?
I had to select one star because it wouldn't let me select zero. I am exercising my first amendment rights to speak out and this is my honest opinion. This man and his team completely botched my divorce. His understanding of real estate ownership and his neglect in putting together a comprehensive and accurate divorce agreement coast me 10750 Dollars. Three years after a divorce in which I maintained position of the home that I paid for my ex wife was able to come back and claim half the proceeds because this team didn't have her sign a quit claim deed at the time of the divorce. Please save yourself some money, do your home work.
