Look No Further

Mr. Allison is the consummate professional. On August 12th, 2017, I received a speeding ticket (86/70) in Granville County NC on my way to Washington DC for vacation. The speed that I was traveling required a mandatory court appearance. I was quite stressed out over receiving an excessive speed ticke...t so as soon as I arrived at my hotel I started Googling speeding tickets in NC. Well that certainly didn’t help. I read where NC was one of the toughest states on speeders and beginning in November 2016, they began cracking down on speeders in earnest. Penalties ranged from loss of license, fines and substantial points on my driving record. With a court date of November 2nd, I would sort this out when I returned home from vacation. On the 22nd, when I checked my mail I already had five letters from attorney’s offering to help me with my ticket. Returning to NC for the court date was not an option as my wife is disabled and traveling two days to face the possibility of having a suspended license could leave me with no way to return home. I read each of the five letters and searched Avvo for client reviews. Two attorneys were not on Avvo so I eliminated them immediately. I sent messages to the three who were on Avvo. Mr. Allison called me that evening (23rd) and walked me through the process. He made very clear there were no promises in the process, but his calm demeanor and clear command of the traffic laws in NC made me feel comfortable. He requested that I provide him with a copy of my GA driving history (fortunately no points) and a signed waiver of appearance. On the 24th, I sent the paper work and payment, which his office called to confirm receipt of on August 28th. Well today the 29th, Mr. Allison called me to say that he was able to plead my case down to improper equipment, a non-moving violation with no insurance or driver’s license points. This was nothing short of amazing. Amazing in the speed at which the ticket was resolved and amazing in the level of customer service I received. I am not often impressed, but Mr. Allison impressed me. If you need representation in NC, look no further than The Allison Office.

Perfect Consultation

I contacted Attorney Allison to provide a consultation that I needed quickly considering I was out of the state and received a notice with a deadline. Attorney Allison reviewed, dissected and explained in detail what the document was involving. Without his knowledge and suggested resolution I would... have lost a lot financially. I highly recommend Attorney Allison if an Attorney is needed.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
