Jennifer Marie Sotack

I recently purchased my first home and used Ms. Sotack as my attorney. She was easily accessible, taking my phone calls well after normal business hours. She was meticulous and paid great attention to detail. Being a first time home buyer, I did not know what to expect and had many questions. She was... able to set my mind at ease, going well above and beyond what was expected. Ms. Sotack did a poor title search on our home. Three weeks after we closed we began to get foreclosure notices on the house due to a past lien from the previous owner that she missed during her title search. In panic, we contacted Ms. Sotack and she assured us that she would handle everything. I had... a very hard time getting her to return my phone calls and emails. And when I did reach her, she stated that she was handling everything and we would not loose the house. We continued to get foreclosure notices and the date for foreclosure was days away. No response from her. I contacted her partner who also said they were handling it with no other information. I finally called our Title Insurance company who halted the foreclosure immediately. The title insurance company had to sue my lawyer to cover the expenses. My advice, always have title insurance and don't use Western Wake Law Group.
