Ty Benson is an attorney that has been representing clients in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas for almost a decade. Benson Law Office, PLLC is now committed to exclusively serving clients in the entertainment industry. He is an experienced attorney, and has handled contract and venue negotiations for a number of artists and musical acts.

Prior to forming Benson Law Office, PLLC, Ty worked with several firms in the triangle vicinity, and his practice has taken him all over central North Carolina, appearing in court in numerous counties including, but not limited to Alamance, Chatham, Harnett, Granville, Franklin, Orange, Durham, Wake, Johnston, Richmond, Vance, Lee, Nash, Guilford, Stanly, Anson, Warren, Caswell, and Person Counties.

When not practicing law, Ty enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their Yorkie, Roxy. Ty is also a professional musician and band leader. His groups have played venues all over the State and Southeast and he is often recognized around the city of Raleigh for his encyclopedic knowledge of popular music. Ty has previously worked on the Racial Justice Act through the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and many other social justice projects including periods with political, judicial, public defender, and legal aid organizations.
