Meghan worked with my wife (who is from Honduras) and I through my wife’s long immigration case. This involved a visa/change-of-status from J-1 to green card and included a 2-year foreign residency waiver through the “exceptional hardship” route. We were actually referred to Meghan from our current l...awyer, at that time, who needed to take maternity leave. Though we certainly liked our previous lawyer, Meghan took excellent care of us, so much so that we decided to continue with her once the maternity leave had ended. We never felt that anything was missing in her services to us, and her demeanor was always kind. Through many twists and turns, the hardship waiver was approved, and my wife now lives with me in North Carolina as a lawful permanent resident. In a few years, we will be contacting Meghan again to walk us through the process of obtaining US citizenship.
