John D. Mansfield

I hired Mr. Mansfield for a criminal misdemeanor charge. We agreed on the fee and he was paid in full immediately. After I was unable to attend the first court proceeding due to Military Orders without missing a beat and very predictably he requested another payment of 70% of the initial fee without ...any discussion of a defense plan. After informing him that we had agreed on a price and that the initial payment time/attention had not been fulfilled we finally agreed on an additional $100 and bottle of liquor if/when the case was disposed of. I asked what evidence was against me and he failed to request that information from the State(2 months later after trial he stated that he would check with the DA to see what the evidence was, I told him yes that sounded like a splendid idea). Though our communication Mr. Mansfield accused me of being mental, a drug addict, an idiot as well as mocking my military service. Mr. Mansfield is the most incompetent unethical attorney that I have ever had the displeasure of knowing in my opinion. All communication that we exchanged from each other was always addressed by him wanting more money without a strategic plan of defense. Mr. Mansfield may be a good attorney in some areas but I do not believe that his "area to shine" is in the criminal defense realm. Obviously I retained a more reputable attorney and Mr. Mansfield no longer is a representative of myself. I do request that this post be vetted thoroughly as the rating of this site is the reason I hired him initially.

I had the pleasure of meeting John & Leah this week at my place of business. Leah and I hit it off very quickly, to the point that I started to share with her an unfortunate situation that occured in my life last year Dec. John walk over, over heard our conversation and immediately offered me pointe...rs as far as what question to ask the DA that's handling my case. I believe he heard the hurt and frustration in my voice, saw nothing but pain in my eyes. John also offered to attend my next court hearing with me for moral support. "Blew me away because people are not this kind to each other anymore". We as people have turn into a right now, it's all about me people. To have someone like John & Leah to walk into my life offering such generosity to a nobody like me. Trying to fight this battle on my own with no support from anyone. Was and is nothing more than Heaven Sent!! I feel that not only have I gained an Attroney but freinds. "My Angels" I highly recommend Mansfiled Law Group to anyone who is not just looking for your average Attroney because average he is not. But! Instead are looking for someone who will truly listen and have your best interest at heart. When I'm in the position too, I'm going to pay it forward by reaching back to help the less fortunate, and brokenhearted. The one who see no hope for what ever they're going through. I want to be Heaven Sent just for them.

Attorney John Mansfield is one of the most kind and helpful person I know. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer. When I had a problem with immigration and didn't know what to do while I was going through the divorce; attorney Mansfield understood my situation and solved the... immigration issue.
