Not a serious Law Firm

I do not normally write negative reviews because I would rather steer people towards positive experiences. However legal advise and service is very serious. This group of attornies had zero ability to communicate. Even for very simple items that I later found out other firms would have taken care of... in a week could take literally months. If something happens and you have a question or need a document copy plan to go and sit in the office. They will not respond yo phone calls. Coumselors may be intelligent but the firm is so poorly run do not waste your time.

Very Rude

Was told to write a check for a certain amount by Mr Johnson and when we got to the closing was told I brought to much money by the younger lawyer. He was very rude and acted as if it was my fault. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The lawyers apparently do not communicate or do the s...ame procedures for closings. The young lawyer was also very rude when he called for us to meet him at the courthouse. He said we had better hurry because he was getting ready to leave. I had asked him to call when he was on the way to courthouse but he waited until his business was done and then wanted to be rude to me the client who was paying him!

LOUSY ESTATE ATTORNEY

This attorney NEVER answered our questions, was terribly abrupt an insensitive at a time when we were all filled with grief - not compassionate AT ALL! Actually misfiled several things, refiled and charged US! Didn't try to save the estate money by negotiating down bills (for instance we were billed ...by the rehab center for times my mom was in the hospital - he could have negotiated for half the billed amount and didn't). We tried to ask him to keep us informed every step of the way because we just had never had to deal with anything like this - he chose not to communicate with us until he sent his final accounting and closed the estate. I would NEVER NEVER recommend. Other attorneys that I know that I mentioned situations to as they came up were appalled that he was so terrible to us and recommended that I report him.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
