Worst Lawyer for Custody/Divorce

Had me sign divorce papers without any custody or financials done. Because of that, this divorce lasted more than 8 years. Probably should have sued for Malpractice, especially after he told me my ex paid him $100.000. I only kept him because of his reputation, but I don't understand how he got th...at.

Mr.Silverman is a winner!!

Mr. Silverman is a wonderful, knowledgeable attorney. We have used him since 2011 and have been very pleased with his ablities in the court room.We highly recommend Mr. Silverman for any domestic problems.I will say that his office help could use some training in "people skills".

Absoultey wonderful and referred to me by other well respected attorneys.

Jonathon was more than I could have asked for! I know a lot of attorneys in the county and all told me I should see Jonathan Silverman for the best representation for my divorce. His practice is in Lee County and I live in Moore, but much of his work is in Moore. He was amazing! My husband, thoug...h we did not have a really "ugly" divorce, like some, was appalled that I hired him...he knew his reputation. He was wonderful to work with! The divorce went off without a hitch, and I got alimony and child support thru my separation and after the divorce. However, it did take us almost two years before we had a final financial settlement....and fortunately, never had to go to court, though it was a long day with a mediator. My husband did pay his attorney, Jamie Clarke a more per hour than I had to pay Jonathan and got less! AND, he paid every time he called, even when he just talked to the receptionist! Though, no attorney is cheap( and if he is, you do not want him) and especially not a good one! It is expensive, but a really good one is worth it and will get things done as quickly as possible. Jonathan is worth every cent.

Unsatisfied with this lawyer

We were not treated in a professional way by the staff or the lawyer. He was rude, he never returned our phone calls and we felt like we were always interfering, but this was our case, and we paid for the services.

Did not return one phone call in over a month. Gina Very rude..

My wife and I retained Mr. Silverman on Jan 10th 2013 with a $350 consultation fee that we were told would come off the total of approx $1500. He sent documents for us to sign the following week. I signed them and returned them the same day. The defendant in the case sent me information to move fo...rward with the case. I sent this information in to him on Jan 22nd. The following week my wife called three times and left msg's that were never returned. I emailed his assistant on Feb 6th. Amanda replied that she left the information on Mr. Silvermans desk and he would get back to her. Never did. On Feb 11th I called was told My wife would get a call back that same day. Never happened. On Feb 13th the same. On Feb 15th we wrote an email asking why we were not being called back. Even said if they needed more money let us know because we needed to get this moving. No reply. I called today and asked why no calls were returned and no one had any answers. Gina was very rude and said that nothing would be filled until we paid the balance in full. When I asked why no one had told us this before she said rudely "I'm handling this now and that's how it works." I said your office has not returned one phone call in over a month and now you’re telling me to forget all that and you'll start to work?" Not a chance. The staff was completely rude here. Gina especially. I would highly discourage using this firm. They took our $350 consultation fee and made no attempt to do anything else.
