Prepared, Communicative and ON IT

Mr. Silverman is everything you want your lawyer to be. He is responsive, professional, and prepared. He jumped into the case literally last minute and owned it. His office is well-appointed and everyone we met and spoke with were professional, and efficient; like a well-oiled machine. I can see ...why this firm has won so many awards. Hire him. You want him in your corner!

EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE IN TRIAL

Mr. Silverman, was and continues to be an awesome attorney. Although I saw the decorative comments by prior clients, I do not see anything of merit to what they say. Mr. Silverman answers my calls at 7:30 in the evening and even on the weekends. Meets with me after hours (6-7 or 8). We had a trial la...st Wednesday that simply proved his knowledge of what is supposed to go on in a courtroom. He is extremely respected by everyone, including judges. In fact, he was recommended to me by a previous Judge and another previous judge told me that it couldn't get any better. I am extremely comfortable with my decision with hiring this man! I am actually floored to see the things people say on AVVO. The man that I am dealing with is not even remotely close to what these folks are saying.

Serious problems

I was referred to Jonathan Silverman for separation and divorce. The retainer and fees were considerably higher than other lawyers in the area. I never expected it to be easy but the last couple years were too stressful and not because of my ex but Jonathan Silverman. He procrastinated and did not ...return calls for days. When I had meetings in office I ended up waiting almost an hour every time. He was rude and condescending. The employees were not helpful or professional at all. I found mistakes in almost every paper that I had to sign. The office is not organized and not clean and they all walked around eating and left half filled coffee cups and food wrappers everywhere and his office was so bad he had to use a conference room. It was such a mess with papers and boxes and clothes on the desk and the floor. I expected professionalism from someone highly recommended. I was so disappointed. I would not hire him or anyone else there because I met the other lawyers and was not impressed. I think they run people in and out so fast they can't do a good job for anyone.

Jonathan Silverman will waste your time and money

I hired Jonathan Silverman for my divorce. I agree with others who have posted. He is not only rude, he refused to adequately discuss my case with me, refused to return my calls and treated me disrespectfully. He delayed my case for years without a final resolution, made decisions without consulti...ng me, and never explained his actions. He lied to me several times and when confronted, he became enraged. He insulted me on numerous ocassions and got angry with me for questioning his methods, even screaming at me in person and on the phone. He proscratinated filing motions, and waited until the day before court to tell me I needed to appear. He and his secretaries made me feel like an inconvenience once they received my money. I advise anyone in need of a divorce lawyer to look elsewhere. He may have a reputation for being aggressive but he is not a nice person. The outrageous fees are small compared to the mental stress. Do not hire this lawyer. There are other lawyers who will handle your case with care and will treat you respectfully.

Absoultey wonderful and referred to me by other well respected attorneys.

Jonathon was more than I could have asked for! I know a lot of attorneys in the county and all told me I should see Jonathan Silverman for the best representation for my divorce. His practice is in Lee County and I live in Moore, but much of his work is in Moore. He was amazing! My husband, thoug...h we did not have a really "ugly" divorce, like some, was appalled that I hired him...he knew his reputation. He was wonderful to work with! The divorce went off without a hitch, and I got alimony and child support thru my separation and after the divorce. However, it did take us almost two years before we had a final financial settlement....and fortunately, never had to go to court, though it was a long day with a mediator. My husband did pay his attorney, Jamie Clarke a more per hour than I had to pay Jonathan and got less! AND, he paid every time he called, even when he just talked to the receptionist! Though, no attorney is cheap( and if he is, you do not want him) and especially not a good one! It is expensive, but a really good one is worth it and will get things done as quickly as possible. Jonathan is worth every cent.
