I am an attorney with over 10 years of experience representing Social Security disability claimants. I strive for excellence, and I believe strongly in the value of the service that I offer to my clients.

Since Social Security disability law has been the focus of my career, I have considerable experience with Social Security disability cases at the initial, reconsideration, hearing, Appeals Council, and federal district court levels.

I am able to orally communicate effectively with judges, staff, and clients. I have represented hundreds of claimants at administrative law judge hearings across the state of North Carolina. Additionally, I understand the importance of great client service on the outcome of a case. Further, I have extensive experience writing convincing on-the-record requests, pre-hearing briefs, and Appeals Council memorandums. Moreover, as a member of the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, I have drafted several memorandums in support for a plaintiff’s motion for judgment on the pleadings and related documents. I have filed for attorney fees under the Equal Access to Justice Act, and I am familiar with the attorney fee provision found at 42 U.S.C. § 406(b).
