Mr. Cooley represented me in a very difficult fight with my ex over custody of our children. I hired him because I liked his “no bull” attitude, how he would fight when necessary — but ONLY when necessary, and because of how his retainer spelled out exactly what would be done and how it would be charged. All the other retainers I looked at were legalese gobily-gook that didn’t explain what I wanted explained. I recommend him completely if you have a case that may need a fighter!

I had an unfortunate run-in with a client that Mr. Cooley was representing. I had no money to pay for my own lawyer and was very worried about the situation. I gathered as much evidence as I could and presented myself to him in the best possible manner. Mr. Cooley achieved getting me, and his client,... a result that satisfied us both. The best thing was, he wasn't even representing me, and not once did he use any of my information to twist or exacerbate the situation.
