It is unfortunate that feel that I inappropriately handled your claim. Your auto accident happened December 2023, less than a year ago. You suffered a serious injury where surgery was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon. Throughout your treatment, you repeatedly stated that you wanted your claim settled immediately because you were in a financial bind. I explained that (1) it was unwise to pursue settlement negotiations at the present time because you were still receiving medical treatment, and (2) North Carolina law provides a 3-year statute of limitations before a law suit needs to be filed. You and I had a face-to-face, 1 hour meeting in my office on 07/30/2024, where I provided a detailed written summary about your accident, treatment to-date, and my plan of action once you were released from the doctor. At the conclusion of the meeting, you stated that you were in agreement with how the case was progressing. Once you were released, you were upset that your case was not immediatedly settled thereafter. I give care and attention to each case that I'm involved with, and am grateful that my clients have trust and conficence that I'm protecting their interests. However, I do not do "rushed" work; neither do I rush my clients to complete medical. I wish you all the best.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
