I will start by saying my son was in the hospital for having seizures he is 6 months old. I had court and I called the office of John Cox and told them I have been up for 2 days in the hospital with my baby no sleep at all. The lady on the phone did not ask me if my son was okay or even showed any em...otion I know that's not their place but that is just kind of what a human does. I told them I did not need to be driving because I was so tired and all I had to do was get it continued so I asked them if my lawyer could just take care of it so I did not have to be there because I did not want to drive as tired as I was. They didn't care I still had to go and I know most people might not understand my situation but being scared of losing my son at 6 months of age I was so tired and I just needed it to be put off but I could not get any help and I still had to go and drag my baby in that courthouse because I don't have family or friends to help me keep him and I really didn't want to leave him with anybody because he just got out the hospital for having seizures and if something happened I wanted to be there. So maybe here's a little advice when someone calls you crying because their son is in the hospital having seizures maybe try to be a little more understanding I knew that I would probably have to go but I was hoping there was a slight chance that they could help me take care of this or at least get it put off the lady on the phone had no feelings or heart she didn't say sorry but you got to go she didn't say I hope he gets better she didn't say nothing but kind of chuckled and said you got to be there.
