My husband & I went to see Mr. Morgan about a lien placed wrongly by our Property Management Association. We had received paperwork from the POA from a debt collector attorney saying a lien had been placed on our property. We gave him a retainer fee of $1500 and he would charge us against any work h...e did at $200 an hr. We later found in NC someone can not put a lien on your property with out going to court. With the amount of real estate work Mr. Morgan does he should have informed us that unless we had been to court there would be no lien and charged us for an hr of time or less. He sent a 1 page letter to debt collector and copied us via locan postage. I would think liens can be checked online. I asked Mr. Morgan to send me an invoice with dates, hrs spent, etc to explain why we were charged $1500. In all honesty I can not imagine that we should be paying $1500 for so little work. I advise people ask questions does the meeting cost, get a description of the work and estimates on time it would take to do such work, etc. I wouldn't recommend Ben Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was very helpful from the start to the conclusion of my case. He was able to reopen a very old misdemeanor traffic charge and get the result I needed. He was very informative and made the whole ordeal very bearable. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Mr. Morgan for those... who need a great misdemeanor or traffic lawyer in Asheboro.
