Mr. Laws represented our homeowners association in regards to a Civil Lawsuit which alleged a nuisance claim and ultra vires acts. Mr. Laws strategy in approaching the lawsuit was superb. The ultra vires claim was addressed and resolved in favor of the Association via a Summary Judgement to avoid a... jury trial, which the plaintiff had requested. The nuisance claim continued to a jury trial after over two-and-a-half-years due to court scheduling and plaintiff delays. Mr. Laws approached the trial in a very professional manner by concentrating on the facts to help the jury focus on relevant testimony and not be distracted by unrelated side issues. Mr. Laws closing argument was EXCELLENT!
