About Raini
Biography
Raini was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia, and upon graduating from high school, moved to Athens where she attended the University of Georgia. Her long-held dream of pursuing a law degree led her to enroll at Elon University School of Law, during which time she served as a Teaching Assistant and an Academic Fellow to assist first-year law students in areas such as contract law and legal writing.
Raini discovered her love for family law through immersive internship experiences and a clerkship with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, both of which provided invaluable exposure to predominant family law issues such as child custody, divorce, equitable distribution, and domestic violence protective orders.
Outside of work, Raini enjoys exploring local shops, restaurants, and markets, as well as finding new trails to hike or rivers to kayak. More than anything, Raini is honored to serve a community that has helped make North Carolina her new home.
Raini resides in Winston-Salem with her fiancé and two cats, Willow and Newton.
