Elizabeth Marshall O'Neal

Ms. O'Neal was the attorney handling the sale of my parents house. She told my realtor that I didn't need to be present at the loan closing & that she put the check in the mail that afternoon. Four days later I still had not received my check so my realtor called again & was told they had put the che...ck in the mail that day. I waited 2 more days and no check. My realtor called again & the check had not been mailed. Now 6 days after the loan closing and Elizabeth was paid at the loan closing, I went to her office to pick up my check & found out the amount was different than what she sent me & my realtor. The check was $400 less than listed on the loan closing disclosure and she didn't have the professional courtesy to tell me before I showed up in her office to pick up my check. Her explanation was condescending and feeble. What is acceptable about having to wait for my money & being lied to about it being mailed multiple times when it was sitting in her office the entire time plus the amount was different from the closing disclosure. Very unprofessional!
