OUTCOME: Obtained a judgment for plaintiff for $860,000

My client owns commercial property on Capitol Hill. The defendant leased the space and soon thereafter defaulted under the lease and vacated the space. The defendant asserted numerous baseless allegati ... ons against my client regarding the premises and construction issues. We obtained an $860,000 judgment without going to trial via a summary judgment motion. We subsequently settled the matter without the need for expensive collection actions.

OUTCOME: Obtained a settlement in favor of my client

Thomson sold a home to buyer. Buyer discovered defects with the home after the purchase closed. Buyer sued Thomson claiming that Thomson failed to disclose known defects. Thomson turn the matter over t ... o their insurance carrier, Allstate. Allstate subsequently sued Thomson alleging that Allstate had no obligation to defend or indemnify Thomson. Allstate twice brought summary judgment motions against Thomson. Twice, we defeated those motions. Ultimately, Allstate agreed to pay Thomson's entire defense of the Buyer's action.

OUTCOME: Obtained summary judgement in my client's favor

My client owns a parking business in Seatac. Because of the contours of the land, my client and the neighbor built a fence that did not sit upon the property line. After 2 decades, the neighbor refused ... my to allow my client access to the strip of my client's land that, because of the fenceline, seemed to be part of the neighbor's land. We sued to eject the neighbor from the strip and to quiet my client's title to the strip. We suceeded on summary judgment via a combination of the facts of the case and some quirks of Washington law. After we obtained our order granting summary judgment, the parties mediated the dispute, and my client obtained a very favorable outcome.

OUTCOME: Succesful at trial and then collected all monies

My client leased property to the commercial tenant, Pho Restaurant. There were numerous issues surrounding the construction of the tenant's tenant improvements by tenant. Tenant attempted to turn this ... on landlord alleging that landlord failed to complete its work before turning the premises over to tenant. Tenant then stopped paying rent. Eventually the landlord sued to evict the tenant and to obtain a judment against the tenant. After a two day trial, the court ruled in favor of my client on all issues, evicted the tenant and awarded my client all of its damages and all of its attorney's fees and costs. After garnishing the tenant's bank account, The tenant paid all amounts due and owing and completely satisfied the judgment.
