Regina R. Gillespie

A highway trooper on I-77 in Surry County stopped me in August 2019 and issued a citation. I looked on the internet and found Attorney Gillespie. After an office consultation I employed her to represent me. She did an outstanding job in getting my case dismissed without my having to go to court. I re...commend her highly. Regina is an excellent attorney, professional and honest to customer. She did a great job for my traffic case. She told me what she was able to do and what was the best result she was able to help me after she took my case. The final result is much better than she told me and I expected. I got a t...raffic ticket on I-74 in Surry area on August 22nd. I took my daughter to college. All of the way I followed the speed limit and drove safely. I drove from I-77 onto I-74 and entered Surry NC. We wanted to go to restroom and take a rest, so I checked GPS Navigation and tried to find the nearest Rest Area or Gas Station. I didn't know and didn't realize that the vehicle's speed was becoming/changing to a speed over 80 mph while I checked GPS Navigation and looked for Rest Area/Gas Station. The whole procedure was a very short period, I guess just about half minute or one minute. The police car parking on road side flashed the blue lights, and I was pulled over safely on side of road. The police walk to my vehicle and said that my vehicle's speed is over speed limit (70 mph), and gave me a traffic ticket (87 mph). I am a conservative driver and drive vehicle very safely, but I got a speed ticket with 17 mph over in NC, and I had to come back on the court date. I contacted and consulted with Regina, and hired her for my case so that I didn't need to come back for the court. After I provided all information including my driving record, she told me she was able to help me get 9 over, the best result would be 5 over. The final result she helped me to receive is a reduction to improper equipment ( a non moving violation ). Given the 17 over I didn't expect any of the DAs would grant that. This final result is much much better I expected. Regina did a great job for my case, and I really appreciate her!!!!!

Regina is the BEST attorney for a custody/divorce my case was SUPER complicated and she walked me through ever step hand in hand and NEVER let me fall or have a set back or weak moment and I was always bent out of frame even through I left him I was always crying because of the trauma I went through... with my ex husband and the anxiety of having 2 babies under my wings and not having the best paying job in the world she was truly my rock and got down on a best friend level for me when need be and she was on 100% the rest of the time she has a “she’s got this attitude” and in the end she definitely has the task at hand in 150% of her total control and we where up against Jody P. Mitchell........ so enough said she is the BEST and I wished she would run for JUDGE at some point on her life because she go that grit for sure.

If I had not hired Regina Gillespie, I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through my three years in divorce court! Despite being tough as nails in court, she is very personable. She gave me the information I needed to make some hard decisions, and I always felt she had my best interests at hear...t even if I was being given some information I didn’t want to hear. There were four issues for me to deal with: child custody, child support, marital support and division of property. Regina was very clear in our discussions of what needed to take place and when for each issue, and she fought for what was best for my children and myself in each instance. Regina is a very busy woman, but you could set a clock by the consistency of her timely responses to my (many!) inquiries. I would not hesitate to hire Regina again. She is, hands down, the attorney I would want on my side.

I hired Regina when I separated. I just couldn't keep my bills paid. She filed a bankruptcy for me and then she took care of me when my Wife asked for alimony (she got zero). Now I can pay the bills each month and I'm not worried all the time. She did a great job, it was done fast, and she made it... easy. She was nice to me and I never felt like she was looking down at me. I would tell anyone to see Regina if you have any any divorce or bankruptcy problems.
