Biography
I have spent the majority of my legal career practicing in the area of insurance defense litigation including the defense of medical malpractice lawsuits. I started my own firm to enable me to continue practicing civil litigation while expanding my practice areas to serve a broader range of clientele. I am licensed to practice law in North Carolina state courts, am a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute.
For the past 15 years, I have been honored to represent individuals and companies throughout the great state of North Carolina. I have personally assisted clients in over 40 of North Carolina's 100 counties. Not all disputes can be resolved without going to trial and over 25 times I have guided my clients through the jury trial system.
I am a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received my Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 2000. I reside in Clemmons, NC where I enjoy cheering on my Tarheels and playing golf. I have a terrier rescue named Bentley.
